Business Basics Letter of Recognition
The Business Basics Letter of Recognition is a 9-credit credential designed to introduce students to the core environments of business, including accounting, management, and information technology. Upon completing courses in accounting principles, business introduction, and computing, students earn both the academic recognition and a digital badge to verify their foundational professional skills.

- Describe basic practices, concepts, and trends in business, accounting, and computing fields.
- Analyze the role of business in society, the different aspects of businesses, external forces that affect business, and the role of markets and other institutions that affect the economy.
- Describe the steps of the accounting cycle and other appropriate financial accounting terminology.
- Demonstrate computer literacy.
- Describe the role of technology in supporting a business.
