Business Management A.A.S.
The Business Management Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) is a 60-credit career-oriented program designed to prepare students for immediate entry-level management positions or for starting their own businesses. The curriculum emphasizes practical skills through coursework in accounting, business law, spreadsheet applications, and management principles to ensure graduates are ready for the workforce.

The Business Management A.A.S. is designed for students seeking immediate employment in entry-level management or management trainee positions upon completion of the program or for individuals desiring to start their own businesses. Although the majority of the coursework will transfer to other institutions, the program is oriented toward employment preparation.
Success in the program is defined by your ability to apply what you’ve learned in real-world scenarios. This program ensures that every student achieves the following core competencies:
- Demonstrate competence discovering, applying, and thinking critically about basic business, accounting, and computing concepts and trends.
- Apply appropriate practices and principles to solve business problems
- Generate effective artifacts of business communication using multiple methods (oral, written, graphic, and electronic).
- Investigate the various components and structures of a business.
